The modular cage consists of a NATO rail and a U-shaped cage. The NATO rail is secured on the top via two 1/4″-20 screws and removed to allow installing the original XLR top handle; the U-shaped cage is fixed via 1/4″-20 screws on both sides and at the bottom to prevent twisting, with a cushion against scratches. At the battery door, a hinge arm fits the camera curve for an improved grip experience for a little finger. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects interfaces to ensure stable signal transmission. The patented self-developed quick-release structure (named HawkLock) covers the cold shoe, NATO rail, and Arca-Swiss plate.
