The Nanlite Rapid 90 Parabolic Softbox (35 inch) is a 16-sided, deep circular light modifier designed to deliver highly controlled, cinematic softness without the tedious setup times of traditional softboxes. Built with an innovative, integrated speed ring assembly and a rapid-latch mechanism, it allows filmmakers and photographers to lock the frame open in seconds and collapse it just as quickly using a quick-release trigger. Its deep parabolic geometry shapes the light to create natural, round catchlights in a subject’s eyes while providing an elegant, directional falloff that minimizes unwanted light spill.
The interior is lined with a highly reflective silver fabric that maximizes light output and maintains accurate color consistency across your scene. Outfitted with a universal Bowens Type-S mount, it integrates seamlessly with Nanlite Forza, FS, and FC series LED spotlights, as well as a massive range of standard continuous lights and strobes from other brands. To give you complete creative control, the system includes two densities of removable front diffusers, a fabric egg-crate grid to narrow the beam angle, and a dedicated carrying case for streamlined travel.
