The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Fill Light is an official, ultra-compact magnetic LED illumination accessory built specifically for creators using the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 and Pocket 4P gimbal cameras. Weighing a mere 16.72 grams and featuring slim dimensions of roughly 52 by 36 millimeters, this pocket-sized lighting attachment securely snaps onto the contact area at the back of the camera’s gimbal arm without requiring separate brackets or mounting adapters. Once magnetically docked, the accessory acts in perfect synchronization with the motorized gimbal, rotating in tandem with the lens to ensure a consistent stream of diffused fill light is always trained directly on the subject, which makes it particularly effective for capturing natural skin tones during vlogs, portraits, and low-light selfies.

Operating the device is completely seamless, as the fill light houses no internal battery of its own; instead, it automatically draws power directly from the host camera upon connection. While this setup slightly increases the overall power consumption of the main device, it eliminates the need for separate charging cables or standalone battery maintenance during a shoot. The accessory delivers versatile illumination through three preset brightness configurations—offering 12 lux at the low level, 25 lux at medium, and 40 lux at high when measured at a standard distance of 0.6 meters. Users can also cycle through three distinct color temperatures to match their recording environment, shifting between a warm 2800K, a neutral 4000K, and a cool 5500K. Creators can easily manage these adjustments on the fly, either by clicking the dedicated physical controls located directly on the body of the light or by swiping down on the camera’s touchscreen interface to customize autofill settings, with the device automatically saving the last configuration used for the next filming session
